YOU KNOW WHAT I JUST REALIZED BOTHERED THE FUCK OUT OF ME ABOUT ENDER'S GAME?
Not only did Bean's actor or writing not accurately describe his social pariah status as a know it all like Ender, but NO ONE FUCKING SAID "HO ENDER" to my knowledge anyway.
That is the seemingly the only greeting in the book, and it just wasn't in the movie!
Other nitpicks that I realized immediately and have already expressed my dissatisfaction over:
The battle room scenes did not accurately portray the profound effect Ender had on how the game was played. Everyone adopted Ender's tactics. The gate is down, you can rush the end, you fight with your feet in front of you, star tactics, etc. They ALL did it. In the movie, Ender's team was the only brilliant one.
Also, Alai didn't kiss Ender on the cheek. Are we that homophobic as a society that two boys can't show physical affection for each other? This is the future. Shit is supposed to be different. Alai is from a different culture, that's the point. It's supposed to be a culture shock for you and for Ender. But no. Fuckin' Murica.
