Okay SLUMBER PARTY TIME!! GIRL TALK!!
I was having this conversation with one of my female friends and we were talking about kinktober and then it got derailed and we were bringing up the idea of having a 'ho phase' or 'hot girl summer'
Now, my friend is an Aquarius Venus and NOT demisexual like me so she's comfortable pursuing casual sex which I respect, no judgement but just for extra context b/c she has more sexual experience than me.
And she mentioned how she thinks it's essential for girls in their 20s to have a 'ho phase' and sleep around so they can gain sexual experience and understand what turns them on, learn to love themselves sexually and grow in confidence.
She also doesn't 'get' the gist of demisexuality so we have these conversations a lot which is fun- I like it, it never gets boring.
To which I was like- those are fair points and great points but as someone who's demisexual, I obvs am not comfortable nor turned on by the idea of doing that so couldn't another option be...
- reading smut and spicy stuff and self experimentation like I do?? Because that way you know what you like and gain confidence w/o another person- that way you have the research and the knowledge even if it's not practical to kinda know what you're doing.
OR??
If you're a late bloomer/inexperienced than trying to find someone else who is also inexperienced and you learn together??
What do you all think? Do you think having a 'hot girl summer' is essential for a girl to feel confident in their own sexuality??
