sometimes i think about s2 and how hilarious the sibuna plot was bc of the fact that victor knew what they were doing, they knew what victor was doing, and both sides refused to acknowledge this

which led to hilarious scenes like the one where nina bumps into victor making him drop the zodiac, and she grabs it, locks herself in the bathroom and makes amber take a pic of it, before just giving it back to victor. and they both just pretend like she did that for no reason like i can’tttt

other random s2 thoughts include: that scene where fabian is trying to pick the lock on the cellar door after going to the movie with joy and eddie asks “what are you doing” so casually that fabian instinctively replies “i couldn’t get through the bread oven” before realizing who it is

and that wording implies that he TRIED to get through the oven, which he knows needs nina’s locket,, so i like to imagine he just straight up started begging the house to let him in like “ik usually u only talk to nina but i have to get down there its really important” or “sarah you met me you know im nina’s bestie come on” and when that failed he maybe gave the door a stupid little kick before trying the cellar door like comedic potential here is so high

sometimes i wonder how mr. sweet KNEW that eddie was the osirian. like did a strange mist enter the room when he was born, was there a big flash of light, or could he Sense the ancient spirit of the osirian entering his child,, idek atp i need answers

part of me wonders if it has to do with birthdays, like being the chosen one does. cause we know rufus’s birthday from that one s1 ep, 12/21/15, and eddie’s bday is listed on the wiki as 11/19/94 (idk where that one came from but i’m gonna trust it) and i don’t see any correlation between the dates.

like seriously the idea that mr. sweet had a way of KNOWING who the osirian was but made the mistake of confusing 7 pm for the seventh hour of the day and getting the wrong chosen one is hilarious to me lmao

just found out that the eddie line from s2 “i’m just a tin can, standing in front of a tank, asking her to dance with him” is actually a reference to notting hill ?? shdhdhdh i’ve never even seen that movie but i think it’s interesting that eddie says that line bc in notting hill the girl says it

I have a lot of feelings about house of phantoms okay

Patricia is the first one to scream NO when Nina falls and she starts crying but quickly pulls herself together; Alfie is too shocked to even say a word and Amber is just mindlessly babbling and crying her eyes out and I kinda feel like their reactions sum up their relationship with Nina kinda well ?? 

 But Fabian, man 

Fabian in this episode FUCKS ME UP

Not only is he crying, he constantly gets angry at the others. He yells at Patricia when she claimed he was giving up on Nina and ran out of Ms Valentine's classroom crying only to yell at Amber when she comes to console him

Too much pressure is put on Fabian's shoulders bc Nina has always been the leader and has guided Fabian for the past two years but she's gone and the weight of the title has been given to Fabian and he can't handle it

I really love this episode and the characterization and FABIAN

I honestly can't pick a favorite character in this show but in house of phantoms? Fabian tops #1, no contest.
