Thank you for your awesome answer! I will definitely pay attention to everything you said when I rewatch it, hopefully this week. I definitely loved Poe too, and your answer was so precise. I definitely love the brotp with him and finn in the beginning, i got emotional when he named finn lmao.

That’s when I knew that I was going to like him. Everyone else is bomb af too. I also love bb-8. So small. So precious.

That’s okay! They say the best details are the smaller, finer details, that can sometimes go unnoticed. Poe is a detail that helps bring the work together smoothly.

hey sweetie! I'm not trying to call you out or anything. I have seen many people love poe (maybe the most?) and he was a small character. yeah oscar isaac is hot as hell, but im wondering what made you say his name rather than rey or finn? Like, i absolutely love finn. well i love both of them but i think finn is my #1. so I'm just curious as to why Poe was your favorite? im just trying to pick your brain im not angry i'm curious. i love poe too but finn is his /perfect/ imo???

I’m a person who enjoys all characters to various degrees. They’re all incredible characters, but Poe to me embodies the hope of the resistance. He’s quick to trust (shown with finn in the opening scenes) he’s mercurial (dealing w kylo) he’s loyal as hell (the very very beginning) and he’s a damn good pilot. He’s smart, always moving quickly, and nothing seems to bother him for much longer than a few seconds before he’s internally worked out a way to deal with the situation. He never loses hope, and he’s always looking forward with a grin on his face. That’s why I like Poe.

Granted, I’m painfully uneducated when it comes to the entire Star Wars franchise, as this is the first time seeing a full film. However, I do know a basic bit about characters. Poe happens to stand out to me. Not because the actor is hot, which I don’t think he’s super mega ultra hot, but he’s cute. But rather because he’s in complete control of himself even in dark times, and I think it’s inspirational.
