Bandai Announces Tamagotchi Collectibles Hobby Time
The second Tamagotchi Collectibles edition is here! Recreate the day-to-day of Tamagotchi characters with figurines that showcase their hobbies.
Bandai has announced that the second collectibles edition, Hobby Time will be showcase the hobby of six Tamagotchi characters, which are Mametchi, Mimitchi, Kuchipatchi, Furawatchi, Ichigotchi, and Young Mametchi.
These characters fit perfectly into a Tamagotchi Connection case, that’s right, this time they’re for the Connection series! You’ll of course also get a sticker which features Tamagotchi Connection era graphics.
Also it looks like Bandai has display an unreleased 20th anniversary Tamagotchi Connection shell in this release. The shell is Pink Ribbon Bows which was originally released on the Tamagotchi Connection V3 back in 2006! If we had to guess, it is likely this will be the next wave (wave 3) of shells in North America, so real soon!
Release date of July 12th, 2025 for ¥660. This will be a global release, except release dates and pricing to vary by country.
Panel lining is a drug omg and that's only the legs.

Next is eitherrrrr the Zowort Heavy orrrrr the Kamen Rider hibiki kit I just found at a hobby store (pic of the box and cat here:
Hobby time remains the one thing keeping me from going absolutely insane right now. And so, here's the current project.
Been working on the Darkoath list of spearhead and decided to paint the warqueen to a higher, better than tabletop grade completion standard. Which means more details, including actually trying to paint the facial features, and using a few different techniques compared to the batch painting I've been doing for the rest of the dudes.
Here's the completed units in order of completion. Savagers, Marauders, and Fellriders (photo times two cause I love them)
So far on the warqueen I've been picking out the parts of the model I actually have an idea for, so ice axe, blue skirt, magical beastie cape.
Went too hard on the crimson glaze on the cape (in future thin more even for a heavy glaze) but I'm so pleased with how she's coming along. I'm glad this model is older than most of the Darkoath models so that there are fewer greebles to think about as I get further along.
decided i'm evolving into my finalFinalREAL.docx form and become an Original Post person. going to start posting stuff i cook/bake/knit/whatever here. if you are uninterested, the tag to block is hobby time!
this evening's plan is:
soup, for dinner
milk bread. should have started this right when i got home from work if i wanted it for dinner tbh. it'll be evening dessert before bed, it's fine
going to make choc chip cookie dough to rest overnight, i've been on a kick using whole wheat flour in them, and that really benefits from sitting. i'll bake them tomorrow, for an event on wed
word bearer pope
The process of laying down the base colors takes time, but slowly the project moved forward. Each bit of time preparing the machine for further glories.
