Look what the Tamagotchi Factory retail store in Tokyu Plaza is getting! New inventions have arrived at the Tamagotchi Factory store with a release of August, 2026.

Bandai Namco Japan Details Shinako and Takeshita Paradise Event at LaLaport

We now have more details about the event that was previously announced. Be sure to check out all the details here, but in summary the event will run have two runs. The first on Saturday, July 25th, 2026 at LaLaport Nagoya, and Sunday, August 23rd, 2026 at LaLaport Fujimi.

Admission is free, and will feature appearances from Tamagotchi mascots which include Irukatchi, Kuchipatchi, Mametchi, Meowtchi, and Horhotchi. Visitors will also get their hands on a Tamamo Letter and Mametchi Visor.

There will also be Tamagotchi Paradise Orange Tropics and White Glacier experience sessions where you can get your hands on both devices to try them out. The Tamagotchi Paradise researchers will be there to answer your questions too.

A giant Tamagotchi Paradise photo spot will be on stage for you to take a picture of, in addition to additional photo spots throughout the venue.

The folks over at the Spanish Tamagotchi Club have scheduled their next meetup! The meetup will be in Barcelona on Saturday, July 25th, 2026. Specifically at the roundabout in front of Arc de Triomf. Sounds cute!

Tamagotchi Pop-Up at HANDS Shinjuku Store

Bandai Namco Japan has partnered up with HANDS, a Japanese department and home-improvement store for a cute Tamagotchi pop-up! This will be taking place at their Shinjuku store, and even include a Tamagotchi Paradise photo spot, super cute! There are also plenty of devices and plushies to purchase.

Wave Riding Return to Tama Arena for July 2026

Time to ride the waves! Bandai Namco has announced that the Wave Riding event will return to the Tama Arena in the Tamaverse on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026 at 14:00 JST and run through Thursday, July 30th, 2026 13:59 JST! The result calculation period will run from Thursday, July 30th, 2026 14:00 JST through Friday, July 31st, 2026 13:59 JST. Lastly, the reward distribution period will run from Friday, July 31st, 2026 14:00 JST and run through Friday, August 7th, 2026 13:59.

Since you’ve played this game before, you already know how it works! Catch the waves to avoid the flags.

Shake the device to jump over the yellow flags.

Results will be announced! For every day you participate in the vent you will earn Gotchi Points! Score first place and you’ll earn 1,000 Gotchi Points, 750 for second place, and 500 for third place.

Depending on how many days you play for, you’ll earn some awesome rewards, including one new reward! Not sure why Bandai has listed the Sunnytchi Light as new when this was distributed last time.

Reward S is the Sunnytchi Light Tama accessory, Reward A is the Summer Sunlight accessory, and Reward B is the surfboard accessory. If you play for 5-7 days, you’ll earn rewards S, A, and B. Play for 2-5 days and you’ll earn rewards A and B. Lastly, play 1 day, and you’ll earn reward B.

The winning team will win the grand prize of 5,000 Gotchi Points! Good luck playing again and catching those waves this summer!
