Well, this time last year I was full of dreams and big ideas. Sure, I didn't make all six of my Hobby Resolutions, but what I accomplished in their place would put those ideas to shame! I've definitely beat Number One: not just 50 days, but three hundred and sixty two! Number Two: I expanded my Greyjoys, but not nearly as much as I'd like - and the Agrax Dearth nixed the project until I get some ideas. Number Three: The Horus Heresy was my game this year, but I never learned to enjoy painting Space Marines. Now I'm eyeing up a Solar Auxilia project! Number Four: The Octoblade is sat in pieces, waiting for the magnets and the motivation. Maybe an update to their Age of Darkness rules, or a big 40k showmatch might get me desirous. Number Five: Haldir's Elves joined the already painted Theoden, Aragorn and Rohan foot troops to make a 500pt Defenders of Helm's Deep army. In the new year, I hope to expand them! Number Six: This year saw Aragorn and Legolas, the King of the Dead, Lord Castellan Creed, the Renegade Psyker, and a hundred others - literally! - cross my painting table. Some of my very favourite sculpts, and now I'm buying models *just* to paint. It's been a good year for my hobby. Next year? Well, that's tomorrow's business.
