Project: Hockley Hustle Festival 2014 Client: Hockley Hustle The Hockley Hustle is a legendary Nottingham Music festival, which first began in 2006. It ran until 2010 and then had a three-year hiatus before some lovely people decided to bring it back for 2014.They asked us to help them and we ended up doing work on it that crossed over our three basic disciplines of web, print and video (and more besides).
We built their website and curated their printed festival brochure (of which 10,000 copies were distributed with the October 2014 issue of LeftLion magazine). We also got our team to shoot the festival video (above) and coordinated a million or so photographers to cover the 400 acts over 40 stages at the festival. We worked with freelancer Allan Buxton to design all the branding, which ended up going on everything from t-shirts, to banners, wristbands, flyers, magazine adverts and posters. Oh and we ran a stage at Broadway cafe bar on the day too. Busy times!
