Project: Oasis Play Schools Brochure Client: Oasis Children’s Venture Oasis Children’s Venture is a charity that runs three different and unique facilities for children and young people in Stockwell, London. They offer a range of playful, freely chosen activities that are challenging and fun for pupils. They needed a new printed brochure to showcase their offering to teachers, schools and parents. So we worked with them to design and print this 20 page A4 brochure. We look forward to working with them on other projects in the near future too.

Project: Herts Big Weekend website Client: Visit Herts At the beginning of April each year Hertfordshire comes alive with a Big Weekend of activities. We built them a bespoke website, using an Umbraco Content Management System, offering users the chance to enter a lottery for tickets for hundreds of free events across the county. Event organisers also had a login so they could monitor their ticketing in real-time. There were over 50,000 entries for tickets in the end and the client considered this project a major success.

Project: Kent Big Weekend website Client: Visit Kent At the beginning of April each year Kent comes alive with their Big Weekend of activities. We built them a bespoke website, using an Umbraco Content Management System, offering users the chance to enter a lottery for tickets for hundreds of free events across the county. Event organisers also had a login so they could monitor their ticketing in real-time. There were over 50,000 entries for tickets in the end and the client considered this project a major success.

Project: Gamechangers booklet Client: The National Videogame Arcade / City of Football Gamechangers was a collaborative project between the National Videogame Arcade and Nottingham City of Football. They asked a group of well-respected videogame designers to re-imagine the rules of football to try and make the game appeal to an audience of young people. After the new games had been developed they commissioned us to design, illustrate and print a booklet containing all these new offshoots of our national game. It’s proved popular with thousands of copies of the 16 page A5 booklet handed out to young people and local schools.

Project: Logo, menu and stickers design Client: Boilermaker bar Boilermaker is a bar in Hockley, Nottingham. In 2015 they won ‘Best Bar’ at the Nottingham Food and Drink Awards. Not content to rest on their laurels, however, they came to us soon after and asked if we could do a bit of design for them. First off, we took their old logo and gave it a makeover. Then we designed them a whole new menu that is resilient to spilled drinks. It’s not resilient to people stealing a copy to take home though - which we’re told is happening more and more. We must have done something right. We also designed some stickers to go on their fancy cocktails. The Nuka Libra sticker is a pastiche on the Coca Cola logo and fits perfectly round a glass empty bottle. The Space Program stickers go on their 2000&RUM: A Chase Oddity special. The QR Code even takes you to a video of David Bowie singing. Check out the full menu on our Issuu page here

Project: Craft Beer Week 2016 magazine Client: Nottingham Craft Beer Week Nottingham Craft Beer Week is the one week every year where loads of pubs in the city come together to promote their beautifully crafted beers. We were commissioned by the NCBW committee to put together a 32-page magazine containing original articles, pub profiles and much more. We got illustrators and photographers on board to provide original artwork, curated and edited the content and printed 5000 of them, which were distributed across the city. We even printed them some nice beermats for the venues too! You can read view the full publication on our Issuu page here.

Project: Sat Bains Nottingham Award Client: One Nottingham When Sat Bains received the Nottingham Award in October 2016 he unfortunately could not make the ceremony as he already had a glut of bookings for his (double Michelin Star winning) restaurant that evening. So our crew went over to film his acceptance speech to broadcast at the event. Here he is accepting the award with Paul Southby from Geldards. Restaurant Sat Bains

Project: Richard Whitehead Exhibition Client: David Baird/ LeftLion We’ve worked with photographer David Baird for a number of years. Project: Paralympics with Ollie Hynd and Charlotte Henshaw Client: Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre Ollie Hynd and Charlotte Henshaw were well known in Nottingham before they went to the Paralympics in Rio, but whilst there they became national heroes. We filmed with them at Harvey Hadden Leisure Centre before they flew out to the tournament their to discuss their careers and ambitions.  Ollie Hynd website

Project: Edinburgh Festival 2016 videos Client: Just The Tonic Comedy Club

In August 2016 we went to the Edinburgh Festival with comedy club Just The Tonic to film a series of videos to showcase the acts that were performing across their stages. Project: The Lord of Milan documentary Client: LeftLion/ AC Milan In October 2016 we paid a visit to AC Milan with author Robert Nieri to make a documentary with him about Herbert Kilpin, the Nottingham-born founder of Italian football giants AC Milan. What you see here is the trailer for the film (released before we went to Milan). The full documentary is due for release in 2017.

Project: Dinosaurs of China website Client: Nottingham City Council

Wollaton Hall will be hosting a world-exclusive exhibition of Chinese dinosaur fossils and specimens from 1 July - 29 October 2017. We were tasked to develop the promotional branding and build a campaign website for the exhibition. We supplied them with an Umbraco solution, with full mobile integration and a tiered content management system for multiple users.

Project: School videos Client: Willows Pre-School Willows Pre-School is a educational establishment with two sites, one in Wimbledon and another in Colliers Wood. They asked us down to film a series of videos with them about their school and curriculum. These videos will be placed on their website and on social media to promote the school.

Project: Kickstarter video Client: Millie Lingerie

In May 2015 Millie Lingerie ran a successful Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds to start development of a prototype for a new range of lingerie for women to wear after breast cancer treatment. They plan to follow this up with another Kickstarter campaign to take their prototype into mass production. We filmed this video for them about their company and their future plans.

Project: Sleaford Mods - The Story Behind The songs Client: Sleaford Mods

Just The Tonic booked Sleaford Mods for a show at Leicester Comedy festival this year. We went along to film with the band and ask them the stories behind their lyrics. Project: Light Night 2016 Client: Nottingham City of Football

Light Night takes place in Nottingham in February each year. The aim of it is to light up the city during the dark winter nights and get people out in the city centre. Nottingham City of Football took over both the Market Square and Nottingham Contemporary. We filmed the activity they put on that evening.

Project: Bean and Eat Culture video Client: Nottingham City Council

Nottingham City Council run a range of food and drink outlets across the city under the names Bean Culture and Eat Culture. They wanted a promotional video to showcase them. This was filmed in 2 days across multiple locations.
