“What have you done, George?” Henry mumbles and George feels stupid, so very stupid. Henry reaches toward him. For a moment George thinks he’ll take his hand. George can’t lift it anyway. Then he notices—with dull surprise—that Henry’s bandage is gone from his throat. Did he take it off? Why would he—he shouldn’t— Instead of touching him, Henry reaches into his pocket and draws out a razor. “We’ll fix it, you hear?” His voice is calm now, eyes locked on George’s. George wants to ask how, or why, or even thank you—but his throat closes on the words. Henry pinches his own cheek, tugging the skin until it blanches beneath his fingers. “You need to eat something, all right? It’ll help.” Before George can breathe, before he can scream, Henry makes a swift cut along his cheek; the blade flashes. He flinches only once. George screams—a raw, breaking sound—but Henry hardly seems to feel anything. Blood spills, and beneath it the pale ridge of jaw bone gleams faintly through before the cut if pooled with blood.
I've spent whole day finishing it like a freak 😭 luckily half of it was already written. Anyways, I don't know if it's any good, if I failed the sensitive topics but I poured my whole soul into this stupid thing and now I am soulless, help
