A New Order by marysiak
Diverges from canon after book 4. During the summer the Death Eaters depose Dumbledore from Hogwarts and replace him with a new headmaster - Lucius Malfoy. Despite this Harry is determined to finish his education. In an all new regime corporal punishment is rife and the boys and girls are separated from each other. But when Harry bumps into Draco Malfoy one night on the Astronomy Tower things change even more. Based on old fashioned British boarding schools of the 1950s and earlier. Although this was sort of written to be longer I don't think I ever actually had a plot in mind so it will have to stand alone. I think it works as is. It's just some kinky porn with a fairly detailed AU background.
Ok, this is gonna get long, so I’ll put it under a read more...
Dream Team is as follows (this includes bench and enough players for a myriad of different rotations):
Setters
Kageyama- his quicks are the strongest when paired with Hinata or Bokuto. Widely renowned for his precision and freaky psychic connection with Hinata.
Oikawa- best at keeping the game flowing in a way that over powers an opponent by utilizing Ushijima and Futakuchi. With Kageyama being the better setter now that they’re older, Oikawa focuses more on his serves.
Middle Blockers
Hinata- has grown to 170cm, though he is still considered short for a middle blocker. Is more widely know for block outs and feints rather than kills. Has a freaky relationship with setter, Kageyama.
Aone- the tallest member of the Japan olympic team, this silent but surprisingly friendly giant provides security in the vanguard and long reaching receives in the reargard.
Tsukishima- regarded as the brains of the defense, Tsukishima’s cool attitude keeps the team grounded during difficult matches. He and Futakuchi are hailed as provocation experts when on the court together. Long time friend, Yamaguchi Tadashi (who played volleyball up until college), taught him the jump float serve. He never fails to irritate opponents’ defenses.
Tendō- this guess man has an intution that can be trusted... most of the time. Best when on the court with Aone or Tsukishima. Nishinoya enjoys being the libero when he is on the court (because let’s be honest Tendō guesses wrong)
Wing Spikers
Ushijima- no country has a defense this champion cannot plow throw. With his power and impress presence, weaker teams are brought to their knees.
Bokuto- fun loving, Bokuto helps bolster team’s spirit with his interjections and creative ideas. He, Kageyama, and Oikawa mostly come up with new attack formations together, off the court of course
Futakuchi- able to douse any opponents confidence, this wing spiker hits them where it hurts, physically and emotionally. Over the years, he has developed into a versatile and key player.
Takeru- solid and dependable, this team player keeps the team bond strong despite the strange mix of personalities. He works closely with Oikawa to keep every in top form, physically and in regards to team dynamics.
Libero
Nishinoya- long hailed as a guardian deity, the tiny but fiery libero can save even the most ridiculously impossible balls. long since has he mastered the ability to toss midair, making him just that much more dangerous.
Yaku- with solid game sense and even more solid receives, Yaku is primarily utilized in matches where Nishinoya is unable to play or has already played more than recommended in a day.
I don’t really know all that much about rotations, but the starters are typically Ushijima, Aone, Kageyama, Bokuto, Tsukishima, and Futakuchi. with Nishinoya rotating in normally. Hinata is usually switched in to change up the tempo, but sometimes he ends up staying out on the court once they do switch him in. Unlike when he was on Fukurodani, when Bokuto hits his slumps, he is usually replaced by Takeru. Unless Kageyama loses his cool (which he still does), Oikawa is mainly used as a pinch server.
