Brad Witkowski is an excellent player. In 2014 he was selected to the CAA All-Rookie team and carried a .410 OBP through 23 starts. My favorite stat of his was that he had more walks (11) than K’s (10). He has started a little slow this season, but I expect him to pick up steam soon enough.

Another Hofstra player who was highly sought after coming out of High School. Annunziata is having a nice start to the season, hitting .267 though 8 games.
I feel bad. When the game started I confused him with Steven Foster…I don’t know how. Then, during the second game he got hit by a pitch and tossed his bat down…and some idiot Hawaiian fan gave him grief…

I was able almost all the players that I wanted before the the second game of the Hawaii-Hofstra doubleheader began. The only dude that I did not get was Nick Kozlowski. He was starting the second game, so I did not want to bug him. Baseball America rated him one of the top pitching prospects in the conference and a legit draft prospect, so I decided to stay for the second game to see him pitch.…

Niko Hagerty started the first game on Saturday. He was high on the list of players that I was hoping to get, and was able to have him sign my card between the two games. He looked good at catcher, nailing at least one base stealer. He was a fantastic high school player in New York, so I am hoping that he keeps it up at the DI level.
