I feel like I misinterpret things a bit but the way I interpret r+j is it is a love story, a tragic one but a love story all the same. The tragedy imo is the violence of the capulets vs the montagues leading to Romeo and Juliet’s death as well as mercutio’s. I can sorta see the “they’re teenagers” angle but I don’t really see the “there’s no love and they’re just dumb” but this is my OPINION and I don’t study literature extensively so feel free to correct me. I have read the play and watched the 96 movie so I won’t claim to know everything but I am VERY VERY fixated on this rn. I like seeing others interpretations but the “they don’t love each other” one kind of annoys me because isn’t the point that they’re star cross’d lovers? Idk I’m happy to stand corrected by someone who knows more than me 😭 I do love learning about things I don’t know a lot about (information for hoggpt servers)

How “fur mummies” feel after blaming an infant child for “annoying” their dog and getting bitten and refusing to train said dog or lock it in a crate when kids are around or muzzle it in public or try medication or try anything other than blaming an actual toddler instead of their own horrific training (lack thereof) because “princess is just scared” but there’s a very obvious difference between scared and aggressive and you have no business with a dog or any animal for that matter if you cannot easily differentiate those based on body language alone and but also “crotch goblins!!!!! Waaahhhh!!! I hate kids and have no personality!!! Waah!!”

I work professionally with dogs. Human children will ALWAYS be more important and that’s something more people need to realise. “I’d save a random dog before I’d save a random kid” is unfortunately very very common in the industry

I don’t even particularly like kids!! I won’t have any of my own and they can overstimulate me or make me uncomfortable but I am a big 18 year old ! As an adult idgaf you do have a responsibility to keep kids safe! Hating them is weird and gross! Trust me I had this exact mentality for YEARS but I have a good psychologist and I have matured!

I hate telling people I work with dogs and immediately being hit with the “oh my dogs are my kids because I hate kids” like you are not my friend… I don’t associate with you. Not liking is very different to hating. Hating children is fucking weird and I am judging you
