Also that crowd was GREAT to watch, biggest pit I’ve seen at this venue before, a proper wall of death, 10/10

Congrats on the debut of your first MC! I adore Reuben, so today I have a few questions from the OC ask game:

Which canon character annoys him?

Does he have a crush on anyone? Who would probably have a crush on him?

What is the worst thing he does in his story?

What is his “redemption” moment?

hello again! thank you for the questions! hehe i'm so glad Reuben is making an impact.

Imelda annoys him and impresses him in equal measures. The way she talks to him at first definitely triggers his insecurities and he's not good at flying, so he can't even wipe that smug smile off her face. But when he sees her fly, he begrudgingly acknowledges that she does have bragging rights.

With his sulky boyish looks I'd imagine Reuben to be kind of a heartthrob around hogwarts. on the other hand, he would rather die than admit he has a crush but does sometimes blush when Poppy talks to him. as does his player...

Depends on how you define worst but... as in Choose to Choose, Reuben eventually takes Ancient Magic to bring back Fig. Where he goes beyond that -- well, you'd have to wait for the next chapter >:)

As for his redemption moment, here's a sneak-peak of what lies in his future:

He looked into Fig's eyes. They were steely grey and kind and he knew the old man would not back down, but there was also a flicker beneath the determination that extinguished the cold fire in his veins. Fig was afraid.
