It's the new year already? I'm not ready for this year! Soon I'll be going back to Hogwarts and studying for my N.E.W.T.s. I know some of you may say I'm a year away from them, but that's a whole years worth of studying I need to do! One can never start studying too soon!

Have any of you read The Runic Lorebook: A Practicum? I'm having a terribly hard time getting through it. I know I'm a Ravenclaw, but man this is very dense! I've never been very good with runes...

I have to write a 200 word paper for Transfiguration! Why is it that I can write a 100k fan fic for my favorite fictional centaur couple, yet I can't write this paper due in 2 days?! Ugh Professor Clearwel is going to charm me again if I don't get this turned in on time!

This is fantastic!

I think I'm the first of my class mates to make one of these! I found out about tumblr when I went home for summer break, but when I went back to Hogwarts for this year, the Headmaster said I couldn't bring my laptop! Apparently I wasn't the only student who wasn't happy, a whole bunch of us muggle borns missed our tech and so we got together and protested! I was nervous to help out, but my friend Susan (she's a Gryffindor) said we had to stand up for our rights. I somehow became the organizer of the protest and I'm happy I did because it worked!

It's taken several months for the people at the Ministry to find a way to make it safe for students to have online accounts, but now all the main social media websites have essentially subsections where only those in the wizarding world can see our posts! That way muggles are still kept relatively in the dark. Getting internet access in Hogwarts was hard, and sometimes it's still on the fritz, but it was worth it! We may be half way through the year already, but I'm happy we at least have wifi.

Wow this got really long, sorry about that! I'll be posting updates on things happening in the school and on my own personal life, cause I guess that's what you do on here. This is a new day fellow witches and wizards, let's embrace the technology of the muggle world and make it magical!

Ooooh! I am happy!!

So, my dad made me jealous by getting to go to Hogwarts in Universal Studios, Fl, BUT, then I saw him today and he gave me a goody bag of awesomeness.

So thats, Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frog, A Hogwarts Diary, a Chocolate Frog Keyring and a Gryffindor Keyring.
