Animal Crossing : New Leaf - Journal Day 5
So, I decided to sorta.. blog/journal what I did in New Leaf today.. I don't have any real knowledge about writing so please don't comment about grammar or any wrong structuring or anything I'm just thinking what I did today and writing. will this be a continuous thing? I don't know.. will I get my pictures and put them in? I have no idea. Time will tell.
It starts on Day 5 because I got the game on the release day so this is the 5th day of me owning New Leaf.
Dear Journal,
So I woke up today and decided to turn on New Leaf, it was about 1 PM. It was raining in Hokopo today. I really love rainy weather. So, the first thing I do is pull out my trusty shovel and hunt down the money rock, gem rock, and fossils! It's getting a little annoying because I just set my pathways yesterday and there's rocks right next to them so I gotta keep rubbing them away and then setting them up again. I was lucky enough to find the money rock fast and I immediately noticed the gem rock because it was out of place. Sadly, I only managed to find 3/4 fossils.
I decide to check out the shops! First I went to Nook Homes.. what?! 298,000 bells?! Aiya.. I guess I'm going to be spending a lot of time playing today.. But as I go towards the right side of town.. I notice this blue tent next to Nookling Junction.. what is this?! The GARDENING SHOP? Yess! I can finally get axes to cut down those dreaded trees blocking my paths.
I went to go to Re-Tail and see if anything was on sale.. and I pass by Cheri.. she tells me she wants a Police Station to be built! Forget Re-tail! I run to Isabelle right away and find the perfect place to put the police station.
Afterwards I decided to check on my hybrid area of my town. I was lucky enough to breed some tulips to get orange tulips and some others, but mostly orange.. haha. I completely forgot that I payed off my campsite yesterday! I set it right in the middle of my breeding ground and wham it was finished. I immediately went to Isabelle to get the ceremony going. Yay! Poppers!
I noticed that some neighbors didn't come so I decided to go make friends and chat them up a bit. A new neighbor moved in today, I forgot his name but he's a clown dog.. kinda freaky. I hope he doesn't decide to stay in Hokopo long.
After a good rounds of chatting up the neighbors, I decided to go visit the island! I managed to get it unlocked yesterday and I haven't had the chance to really experience the island other than going on the same tour continuously trying to get a hat. Haha. I walk in and in all it's glory there it was.. a wet suit! I thought I wouldn't be able to get one for like a few days but there it was! I decided to work on more solo tours (I mostly did the scavenger tour) and collect those 40 medals to get that suit!
-insert lunch break here-
I come back from my lunch, I went back to the island because I heard from the trusty Animal Crossing youtubers that we're probably all familiar with (linandko) and I heard Lindsey say that we can take the fruit from the tours! I was astonished and I quickly ran into a tour I knew had fruit and collected like 5 stacks of 9 of any fruit I saw (lychee, durian, lemon, and mangoes) Whoot!
I travel back to Hokopo and it's still raining, after a bit of thinking.. I invite my irl friend Nettie (not going to say her real nameee) from Wilton over! We have a friendly exchange of gifts like most people (if you don't do this you should! you'll get a lot of love and you'll make tons of friends) Since we both started off I decided to give her some of the fruit we collected earlier~ (9 mangos, lemons, and durian) We then go to the island and do some friendly tours! She said that we could do any of them so I went and did the hardest bug catching tour, bad idea. We ended up passing but barely.. Then the hammer tour, easy enough, and then the scavanger tour! Sadly Nettie experienced internet problems so we lost all the medals we got but it was still fun.
Man, Hokopo has been looking kind of bare lately.. let's go plant some trees! I kind of went tree crazy and path crazy so I planted TONS of fruit trees everywhere. Hokopo will be so vibrant!
Then I went to the island and caught bugs and fished for hours, payed off my home and my police station and now I'm waiting for tomorrow! I can't wait!
