I hesitate writing this post but I'm going to just lay it all out there. . . This week was shitty. It was tough. I couldn't get out of my own way or out of my own head. I cried more times than I have in a really long time. . . A high school friend passed away on Sunday. I almost feel guilty being so sad because when we went to college we drifted apart. When in high school he was nothing less than an amazing friend. We went to some dances and even junior prom together too! I know we haven't talked or seen each other in years but it still broke my heart to hear the news. My heart continues to break for his friends and family. Rest in the sweetest peace, Timmy. ❤️ . . When I got home my fiancé and I strolled around the yard, swung on our swing set for a little and on our way in we saw these amazing flowers. It seemed fitting to make this post with this picture attached. . . Tell those around you that you love them. Tell them you care, better yet SHOW them. Every day. Life is short and we don’t know what tomorrow will bring. Don’t keep grudges and make sure your friends and family know how much you love them. Don’t think you always have tomorrow to make that phone call or stop and visit. 3 months ago we got a call from friends of ours. I listened to her vm and thought no way are they calling us to move again. We’ve helped them 5 times over the years. And the last move was to their dream home! So surely this wasn’t why she was calling. As soon as she answered the phone I immediately knew something was wrong. In June, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They now needed a new home which would be more accessible for the care that was needed. We were able to help them make the move that was necessary. Unfortunately it progressed much faster than they anticipated and he has just passed. Our hearts are breaking for them. This all happened within a span of 4 months. I don't have a photo of me and Jordan together but I do have one of me and Taylor (and I have one of the two of them). I am so glad they're safe and on their way home. I can't believe that these things still happen to and around good people and their families. I will never understand it. For the people who are safe, I'm so glad. For all those people who are not, I am praying and sending all the good energy to them and their families that I can.
