Behold, Plamyah.
One of my little brainchildren, and was pretty much the reason I made this account and why I all of a sudden feel like I can write a novel. Maybe it’s mental illness, maybe it’s Maybelline.
Anyway, to summarise, this is a planet that’s had its core hollowed out. A geological weapon was built inside, used to disrupt stars and trigger superflares.
The grey structures coming out from the poles from a huge global magnet. Two ships, called the Aiming Ships, fly with these poles. They guide the planet with their own magnetic and gravitational fields. Aiming the weapon.
Here’s a cross-section for visualisation and because I wanted to make a crusty joke:
And now, to set the scene:
"With a technological paramount of this ferocity, and with the energy to back it, Plamyah is safely said to be one of the most feared planets in the cosmos.
Its lifeforms, the Plamyans, are no less striking. There are two dominant species, and both don limbs that blend into the eyelashes, which they can move like a cat's tail.
These are the Strutters and Scanderes, bipedal and quadrupedal respectively. Their technological advancements have led them to become some of the wealthiest creatures in the universe, and their strange anarchist society has made them some of the most outspoken.
Plamyans are known to venture out to other worlds, offering assistance to those worthy and spilling the guts of those they deem pointless.
It’s hard to tell how they will react to humanity." - Dorothy, protagonist of one of those HOLE stories I plan to write.
Posts about this world, its creatures and their interaction with humanity will be under "the septua" and "hole terabyte" tags if anyone's interested!
Dumb old doodle of Dactory and Glockenspiel with their uneducated opinions on fashion.
Drawn in maths class, coloured drunk.
A teeny clay Dac sitting very attentively for their boop
Dactorii doodle from 2019′s Inktober had no right on being this relatable.
Not even my maths notes escape the doodles...
