I just really, really need a girl friend who wants to hang out and sit quietly with me while we write or draw or watch Pride & Prejudice.
I just need that calm friend who doesn't drink or anything and is not bored by that. I need someone who enjoys calmness and silence and doesn't need reassurance from me that I'm their friend because it's just an unspoken, mutual understanding.
I had two extremely close friends like this from high school, and I really, really miss them. We hung out at the library (the library!), watched anime, fangirled over yaoi, calmly sat and drew together.
