My Parents Rebuilding Action

2 years ago my parents bought an old house in Waren (Müritz) in Mecklenburg, North Germany. It once belonged to a clinic and was a home for nurses. Many other purposes followed. It is called "Haus Buchen", "The Beech House", after the beech forest all around it and was the first house in a part of the city where you can find an entire little settlement nowadays.

  Then it was abandoned for good 20 years. The garden is giant and ... started to look like a rain forest. Anyway they bought it and now they're planning to use a part of it for holiday flats. 

Watch the before and after! It's just ... wow! But I am very proud of them. Slowly it is starting to look like a house again and in September they are going to move into it. ^__^
