Night of Worship in Two Weeks! // March 15, 2020 // VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENTS
Starting it off, our next Ladies Night Out is coming up in just a few weeks on Friday, April 3rd, at 7pm! The ladies will be making a mesh tulle cross. We will provide all the necessary supplies for just $5, so be sure to sign up and pay for this guided craft no later than Sunday, March 29th, to reserve your spot so can prepare enough supplies for everyone!
Next, we are hosting our first Night of Worship of the year in two weeks on Sunday, March 29th, at 6pm! This special time is focused on glorifying God, being in His presence, and worshipping His holy name. There may be dessert and fellowship afterwards, pending the national health situation.
Speaking of music, we want to continue our tradition of hosting a special choir during our major holiday services, so if you want to stretch those vocal chords then make sure to sign up as soon as possible at the info booth or online. It’s not too late to join!
Then, Holy Week is already on us and is coming up in one month! It’ll be starting off with Palm Sunday on April 5th. Come for this special service where we’ll recognize Christ as king, then stick around after service for a Family Picnic and Fundraiser Lunch of burgers and hotdogs! This time is special though because we’ll be serving beans, potato salad, and have an ice cream float bar for our dessert, with yard games, kites, bubbles, and more to play outside with your family, so mark your calendars!
Next is our annual Passover Celebration on Wednesday, April 8th, at 7pm! We will be going through an abridged Seder meal, learning about the importance of Passover and its ties to our Christian beliefs! Childcare for preschool age kids will be available on request. Make sure to eat beforehand, and sign up to reserve your spot and request childcare!
Then, our annual Good Friday service will be on Friday, April 10th, at 7pm! It will be a quick one hour worship service focusing on the sacrifice Christ made on the cross for us.
And finally, come and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus with us on Easter Sunday on April 12th at 10am! We’ll have worship, a choir, and a special message you won’t want to miss. Grab a few invite cards and door hangers from the info booth downstairs, share the facebook event online, and invite your friends, family, & co-workers to church this Easter!

Traveling Tips That Are Used By The Regular Traveler
Most people travel at least once in their lives. Whether you have traveled near or far, there is much to learn about travel still. In the following article, you are going to be given important advice about travel that you may need to use one day.
Jogging at a rest stop, while on a road trip, is a fast way to wake up, relieve stiffness from your limbs and prepare yourself for the next leg of your journey. Instead of simply walking around and maybe going to the bathroom, including a five-minute jog at the rest stop. Simply getting out of the car may not sufficiently revive a weary driver, which may leave him or her still sleepy when on return. A quick run can also give children an opportunity to release some pent-up energy.
Don't take sleep aids until you've taken off. If you use sleep aids to help you get through a long flight, wait until after you're airborne to pop the pill. If you take them earlier, you run the risk being unbearably tired if your flight is delayed or you have to deplane and take a later flight.
If you are traveling to a developing country and are afraid of flying into the middle of nowhere, there are alternatives. You can land at a Western-style airport and use ground transport, such as the train or bus, to arrive at your final destination. This may be safer than flying through the bush but will still allow you to enjoy your exotic vacation.
Travelers are a common target of theft, but you can protect your luggage with a few simple tactics. Put Christmas bells on your suitcases and carry-on luggage, to alert you if someone tries to take them. Insert your foot through the strap or handle of your luggage when sitting in an airport lounge during a layover. Be aware that a distraction around you may be a deliberate attempt to divert your attention from your belongings.
To conclude, it is expected that most everyone will travel at some point in time. Information about travel can help you to enjoy the situation in a more relaxed manner. You may find the advice in this article to be useful one day!
Great Advice For Making Your Travel Plans Enjoyable
Travel is one of those things that everyone can get into, but in which, not everyone really excels. Making travel arrangements can be a fast, painless thought-free process. However, getting the best deals and making the best plans, takes a little more effort. Here are a few tips for maximizing the benefits that good travel planning can bring.
Purchasing an entertainment package when visiting a city with many attractions can save you time and money. An entertainment package purchased in advance usually includes tickets to several area attractions, often at a discounted rate. This will take much of the stress out of a vacation, allowing you to walk past the long lines at the ticket counter when you arrive and get straight to the fun.
If you are planning to travel to a country in a very different time zone to yours, make sure you factor jet lag into your plans. Having a low key, relaxing the first day planned will get your trip off to a good start, and avoid you having to explore when all you want to do is sleep.
As an important safety measure before leaving on a trip one should always tell a close friend or family member when they plan on returning and any other key information about the trip. By doing this one is guaranteeing that someone will know something is wrong when nobody shows up on the expected date.
Everyone on board a plane, train or ship, has something in common, they have all paid for the privilege of being there. Some passengers seem happier than others, though. These are the wise travelers, who have made an effort to arrange their travel plans for maximum convenience and economy. A little education can help you to join their ranks and travel with a smile.
