Thanksgiving was like, pretty good I think, the most uncomfortable part was when my mother in law was like, “I wish we had a chik-fil-a in town” and I let silp a “you won’t catch my ass at that place” or something to that effect and then she was all “why not?  why don’t you like chik-fil-a?  is it cos they aren’t open on sundays?  are they too christian for you?  what’s your actual reason?” and I was like, nope, they’re just too homophobic, and my stepdad was tryin to be like “but what about when the Pulse shooting happened and they came and fed people there?” and I was like what about it motherfucker?  Feeding first responders at a nightclub shooting for free doesn’t make up for years of supporting Kill the Gays campaigns overseas and politicians here who want to turn Leviticus into a lawbook.  Fuck that joint.  After I said my piece he kinda waffled and was like, well they’ve started to move away from that in recent years...idc.  There’s a shitton of chicken joints out there, plus I have

so I don’t ever need to set foot in one of their shops.

But other than that, things were alright.  We have like four pounds of Honeybaked Ham leftover (courtesy of aforementioned MIL,) which doesn’t make me sad.
