"Love is the only hope we are left with. Be kind. Love more." - DG Love note left amongst the snow capped mountains for @poeticstories #holidaynotes
#Holidaynotes! is back!
As the reason for @poeticstories is to spread inspiration and smiles on people's faces - #holidaynotes will be back!
From the 12th of December we encourage all followers, non-followers, Tumblr-people and Earth-folk to get some of that old paper we never use for anything - dig out some colors or a pencil from the drawer - and to write some great notes for people to spread some inspiration, joy, positivity, and hope across the globe!
This is how we do it:
1) Take that paper and pencil and write something inspirational positive - whatever you want.
2) Put it somewhere in the world for people to be found
3) Take a picture of your note, upload it and post it with the tag #holidaynotes
4) Wait for us to reblog and to give you a round of applause!
Let us fill Tumblr with Holiday Notes!
FAQ:
You may post as many notes as you want. One is great, twelve is great, many more than that is great.
We are very happy to know which place you put the note and where in the world it is - but no obligation.
The #holidaynotes goes from December 12th to December 24th.
We at @poeticstories get very happy and we promise to do a happy dance (at least in spirit) each time we see and reblog one.
You may post your #holidaynotes from now on as you like - but we put up a reblog queue from December 12th.
We love you guys, and we really want us to spread some love to each other!
Prompt suggestions for each day:
If you don’t know what to write on that old paper of yours - here we have some suggestions for you. (Remember, do as many as you like, and you can do them whenever you like, too. The point is to spread some joy and love guys!!!)
1) Write something beautiful about the reader of the note (which you probably never will know who is)
2) What inspires you in your life?
3) Why is this a wonderful day?
4) Christmas! What do you LOVE about Christmas?
5) What you love the most
6) Why this stranger who reads the note, inspires you.
7) Why this stranger is worth everything in the world.
8) The hope of our future.
9) That we can do anything if we all stick together and cooperate.
10) It is important to love yourself
11) Write about Christmas Lights!
12) Write about Christmas Food!
Now, get out there, or in your desk and drawer and start writing some #holidaynotes for the mere joy of spreading love! Love, lots of hugs and a wonderfully cozy Holiday-spirit from the theme @poeticstories
