i celebrated Holi (Hindu festival of color and good over evil) with my friend today and holy shit. why are holidays in other religions so much more fun than Christianity's. if you were unaware, to celebrate Holi, you get with family and friends and throw colored chalk powder at each other as well as water. like i spent two hours dancing and running around and cackling with my friend and her family, and by the end of it i was soaking wet with pink and blue and orange and green smeared over every bit of visible skin and clothing. i had the time of my life. compared to that, Christmas and Easter are so boring
