Holiday Hounds can be found in a variety of colours, shapes, and sizes.
Stages of Life
Newborn
-Born blind and deaf, they are quite helpless.
-They are born with one to two colours and no markings. Gaining their markings and traits as they grow.
Adolescence
-They start gaining their markings and traits as they grow.
-Still in the family group, unless something causes them not to be.
-They get given their magic item as a coming of age type of thing.
Adult
-Fur, markings, and traits are all finally grown in and shown.

All Holiday Hounds have magic potential; only having the ability to tap into it via a magical item. Each Hound has one special ability via their magic.
For Example, Poinsettia has light magic and her special ability is making small balls of light that can be used for various things.
Magic Items
Each Holiday Hound has a magic item that can tap into their magic. It has to be on the body. For example, a necklace, bell, hairclip, etc.
Their magic is completely unusable without their item. Many are very protective of their item.
