He was terrified, terrified, being this close to Jasmine, but despite how he felt his entire body ready to crumble to the ground at any second it was impossible to rip his gaze away from her. He'd prayed for years that she might fall for someone else, anyone else, because he couldn't stand the thought of doing something that would cost him his best friend - but here they stood, too close for innocent comfort, and Robbie wasn't sure that even his magic would have been able to keep the blush in his cheeks at bay if he tried. "Jazz, I... I can't. We shouldn't. It's gonna make things too weird - there's not a single member of either of our families who isn't going to be psycho about this one way or another and you know that!"

The words had slipped out of her mouth before she could even process them. It was almost like the goal was to embarrass herself. Thankfully, it was simple to just play it off like a joke. "Well our parents said I'm a catch so no, I can't." Jasmine did her best to laugh it off. The words didn't change the fact that she had just felt shot down. At least she hadn't done something stupid and tried to confess her feelings. How shitty that would have gone. If only she could rewind time, or go into hiding until the embarrassment wore off. It wasn't like she could avoid Robbie either, their families spent too much time for her to actually be able to pull that off. Still mid-thought, he only continued to prove that she should have never opened her dumb mouth. All it sounded like were excuses to shut her down and the last thing she needed from him was an explanation. "I don't know what are family has to do with this," although both families would have a field day if they ever found out. "It's just a kiss. All you had to say Robbie is that you don't want to kiss me. I'm not offended." Just hurt. "Weird, right. Friends don't kiss. Of course it would make things weird."

Bucky Barnes was a creature of pure physical power, skill and ferocity. He could break most men in a matter of seconds and if he wanted to do he could probably fuck Tony through the table and truth be told the billionaire was deeply excited and aroused by that idea. But right now? Right now he was focusing on a very different kind of excitement as he had that powerful man and soldier on his knees before him, while Tony remained seated and gazing down at him with a look of enjoyment and fascination.

“Is that an attempt to get me to admit you’re pretty?” He remarked, brow raised slightly. Taking his time with every movement he made, in no rush at all and happy to make Bucky wait. “Seems like you’re the one with ideas of what you should be doing while kneeling for me, so why don’t you state them?” He retorted, leaning a little forward in his chair to reach out and grasp Bucky’s chin and tilt his gaze up. “In case it wasn’t clear, while you’re on my property you will always be for my viewing pleasure Barnes. Whether you deserve to be anywhere near my lap has yet to be decided” He taunted, brushing his thumb across his jawline. “I wonder what Steve would say if he saw you like this, better yet my assistant is supposed to be joining me here soon. Should he see you like this Barnes? Would you like him to get to know you like this?”

their  fav  amusement  park  /  boardwalk  ride: Milo grew up in a carnival. He looks at all those kinds of places and amusements from the worker’s side of things, and it’s just not his thing. But he does love waterslide parks! Pisces, go figure.

FRIENDS  THE OFFICE character  would  they  be: Phoebe is Milo’s WHOLE DAMNED WORLD. He doesn’t really fit any of their types, but Phoebe is his heart. And also he thinks Ross is DILF as fuck.

their  fav  type  of  cookie: Funny enough... Oatmeal Raisin. He doesn’t get why people constantly make fun of it, cuz he’s obsessed. And yes, thats why Holy Grounds Cafe always has them fresh.

A chuckle leaves his lips as he shakes his head, reaching over for a handful of that freshly popped popcorn and tossing a few pieces into his mouth. “Actually no, it wasnt...” starts the man through bites of his popcorn looking over to him. “But thats just how it turned out.” now washing down the popcorn with a swig of that beer in his hand glancing between the television and the very attractive man that was his neighbor and friend. “Ouch, I dont know if I should be offended by that or not now. Guess a guy really doesnt have a chance tonight when your compared to him.”

         “ Oh, I do, do I?” For the first time that entire night Conroy felt his lips twitch into something resembling a smile; a fundraising gala for the hospital wasn’t something new for the surgeon, but that never made this sort of gathering any less tedious. Friendly faces, however, could literally make or break the night for him, and finally catching the sound of Zahra’s voice instantly lifted his mood. “Well luckily for you, Doctor Schuman, my dance card is wide open - or is that just a sad thing to say on my part?” He turned to put his champagne glass to the side and then went right back to facing Zahra, holding a hand out to his fellow doctor in case she had meant right that moment. “Unless you only said that to tease me and have since changed your mind? Can’t promise I’ll be any good out on that floor, but I’ll gladly keep my promise if you’re up for potentially embarrassing yourself with me out there.”

Zahra didn’t want to be here. A fundraising gala schmoozing rich people into helping save lives was the last thing she wanted to do and the last place she wanted to spend her night, she had made it very clear. Yet, she was here. Not like they hadn’t given her much of a choice. Most of her co-workers had somehow slipped out or conveniently had an emergency, this was feeling more like they had plotted against her. Zahra had resorted to finding people she knew, which always seemed to be Conroy in these situations. “Just my luck,” she grinned, a quick glance around the room as far as she could see. Even before asking him, she had noticed a few groups gawking, it wasn’t surprising, he was a good looking man. “I’m sure your absence of dance partners won’t last long. I’ve definitely seen some people looking your way, it’s just about time till they work up the courage. But I’ll happily fill in until they do.” Maybe not to dance but she was sure before the end of the night, someone would be coming up to him, if not a couple of people. “I’m sure your not as bad as you think.” She took his hand, “and please, it’s after work hours, we can drop the titles.”

If that had even been the situation. This was already crossing a line she hadn't realized she drew, until now. "I wouldn't risk my career just to hide my feelings for you. I honestly thought the matches would work." The only thing it did was make it harder. This whole stopping herself from saying shit was clearly not working well. "I guess, I thought I knew better."

The last thing she needed was him keeling over. She took a seat opposite of him, a small smile spreading across her face. "Maybe not, but you seem to have inherited their way with words."
