After crawling through an unlocked window in his adoptive father’s house, Screamer proceeded to collapse into his old bed, still made and ready for his return, his face smothered into the blankets, sweaty and dirty and greasy from weeks of not caring for his cleanliness. But for now, he didnt really mind the way his hair stood up on end and his clothes hugged him. He was exhausted. Time for a rest.
