[ Some "Holstaurus" origin Ideas ] Because I think holstaurus need more then just "oh they are minotaurs but got bigger tits full of constantly flowing milk" or whatever tf is going on there

Holstaurus are a descendants of minotaurs instead of a subrace, much like how domestic cattle are descended from aurochs.

Holstaurus are minotaurs that chose to live amongst humans, becoming smaller and stockier (and other details) compared to their larger counterparts.

Minotaurs typically avoid humans and humans are distrustful of minotaurs, but holstaurus are a result of a split off group of both races that coexisted and eventually merged; creating a new race.

"Holstaurus" are a (nick)name for the offspring between humans and minotaurs.

To call a minotaur a "holstaurus" is an insult. perhaps a crude one

For those who may want to keep the odd lactation aspect; holstaurus are a result of passed down genetics in which the hormones that start up milk production occurs despite not having children from adult female minotaurs that had these genes. The first holstaurus would help with nursing minotaur calves if the mother could not (whether incapable or need to rest) and so they became pretty important within minotaur communities.
