five times kissed
send me five times kissed for a drabble about five times our muses kissed
The first time James kissed Lily it was after the Halloween party, yet it was nothing but a kiss on the cheek. It was light, meaning anything and nothing at all. If would have go further, but he knew where his boundaries lied and didn’t want to step over them.
He did, though, when three weeks later they got drunk together (she did, he just faked it, for he wanted to enjoy every moment with her) and after having carried her up to the common room, he allowed himself to kiss her on the lips. It was their first yet second kiss, and she wouldn’t even remember it.
The third time they kissed was at Christmas time under the mistletoe (Sirius tricked them for that), a kiss which left them not talking at all until they got back for the holidays. He had tried to talk to her during the train ride, but she wouldn’t even look at him. Why, he didn’t know. Remus suggested she wasn’t expecting it, but he suddendly shut him up. Thinking that he had screwed everything up (again) was more fun, anyway.
The fourth time came as a shock. Later he’d say he didn’t remember what they were saying except that at one point Lily gently asked him to, please, shut up and when he didn’t, she did it for herself. With a kiss. He was too stunned to react, and she quickly run away.
The fifth time was the good one. He had asked Sirius to tell Marlene to tell Lily to meet him on the sixth floor by the largest window and went there to wait for her. He waited all day and was about to give up and just go away when she showed up, as beautiful as ever, a sad smile on her lips. He didn’t know how or why, but he found himself hugging her and sharing a kiss at last.

Who worries about how they will look when they’re olderNone of them. James usually teases Lily about it (”I’ll have to decline all the dinner invitations just not to show them how old my wife has become”), but doesn’t really care. He knows he’ll love her no matter what. Besides, she always looks beautiful to him. (And he’s born marvelous, so…)
Who makes the mix tapes/cd’sLily. James still doesn’t really understand how they work, but he’s fascinated about them. He seems like a child with a new toy everytime Lily lets him hear a tape.
Clings to the other during scary moviesLily - yet more for the embrace itself than due to fear. James knows, but says nothing about it. He uses it as an excuse to hold her and kiss her for i’ll kiss all the monsters away.
Gets into the shower with the other randomlyBoth. James suspects Lily enjoys showers in company more than lonely showers. For his part, most of the times he doesn’t recognize he’s not alone in the shower until he’s too late. Lily’s a damn spy, he says. The truth is he’s too concentrated humming to himself to get his surroundings in.
Flashes the other when they walk by after taking a shower aloneLily. She loves to tease James, and he’s not sure wheter he should be happy about it or hit is head on the wall.
Initiates hand holding while the other is drivingJames, and not only when Lily’s driving. He likes to hold her hand so much that he holds it wherever and whenever, even when they’re about to make a car accident and Potter, I really need both hands right now, that tree is not going to move!
Secretly tries to touch the other in naughty places during public/family eventsBoth. James thought Lily’d be embarassed since she seemed innocent, but now he knows better. Usually he is the one embarassed - mostly because those events are so long and you won’t leave our bedroom until the next century, Mrs Tease.
Asks weird questions in the middle of the nightJames. He’s a night creature as much as he’s an early riser (Lily sometime wonders if the guy ever sleeps) and making questions is a way as another to spend the time. It has a bonus of amusement when the questions are so weird that make Lily’s face priceless. The funniest thing, though, is that no matter how odd the inquiry is, the redhead always answers (even if not in a serious way), and they tend to end up talking or just joking about that topic.
Asks “what are you thinking about?”James. He doesn’t really like the silence.
Always has to be touching the other, (if either of them do)None and both. They don’t really need it, but Lily enjoys James’s hugs, and James likes to hold her hand or to embrace her from behind. Most of the times there is something linking one to the other, but it’s more natural than due to a need.
