Consider these

Cas reading the book, Dean watching the show based on it and they keep trying to spoil it for the other.

Dean listening to his music, his head resting in Cas’ lap, who is reading and every so often let’s out an annoyed comment about how Dean’s staring is distracting.

Cas finding a hobby in knitting. Scarves, hats, sweaters for Dean and himself and every member of their extended family gets a pair of socks with every visit.

Dean really loving to decorate their house, as he hadn't had the opportunity before and so there's not only the classics like Halloween and Christmas but also spring-themed decorations consisting of paper cut-out pastel coloured flowers hanging in the windows and summer-themed palm trees and plates of sand everywhere so that you can put your hands in them and imagine you're at the beach.

Cas forgetting to water the plants and trying to replace them with identical ones but he can’t find any and the guy at the store takes advantage of Cas’ innocence and when Dean returns, the house is full of thick sweet smelling colourful flowers.

Dean being angry at first but then spending the rest of the afternoon trying to figure out how to make a flower crown and ending up napping with Cas on the floor surrounded by three dozen tangled flowers.
