... He didn't know who he was anymore- hadn't for a long time now if he were being honest with himself. He wasn't supposed to be... this... this... coward curled up in a prison cell waiting for his tormentor's next attack. But that was exactly what was happening, he was so scared- out of his mind with fear- his entire body shook every time there was a sound outside his cell. Every time someone passed by he prayed it wasn't Asmodeus, or if it was he'd go with kicking his ass again instead of the favorite activity. Just don't let it be that. Settle.

He closed his eyes as that familiar set of footsteps approached the cell. Dad, let me sleep through it this time. Do something for me.
