I haven’t worn mine in a while for this exact reason :(

i don’t think i’ll stop wearing it because it’s still important to me for other reasons but like..i guess i’m just concerned with how people perceive me, like i’ve never been comfortable with womanhood and some people think hijab is tied (lol) into that, like “hijab is because women are supposed to be modest” or smth. it’s a religious symbol to me but i don’t like that other definition that’s a gender control thing :/
