If there was anything Ul’seht could tell without needing to see, it was when his son was nearby. He was at home, busy cooking himself a meal of steak and mashed popotos with some green beans when his ears, catching the familiar footfalls of the elezen, twitch with excitement. Turning his heat down low, the miqo’te rushes to the door, slips on his shoes, and runs outside where, at the end of his pathway there stood the- well, man- but child to him; Matthias. His tail curls in delight and lips part into a toothy grin.

“I didn’t know you were coming over!” He calls out in a gentle voice. “Come inside! I’m about to finish making dinner; are you hungry?”

What was up with this guy? There was something about him that kept her gaze trained on the tall man. It was difficult to untangle the feelings she got just from a simple glance. How best to approach? Or was it far wiser to stay back?

From; A rose for a compliment

See my biggest struggle here is that it said: “a compliment”, implying only one, because there is so much I adore about your blog. I love reading all the things you come up with for Mateus and the world around him, be it serious or more cracky. Your drawings are lovely, and your writing is inspiring, entertaining and characteristic. I used to follow one of your old achieved blogs from the blog I had before I started roleplaying on Tumblr and you’re actually one of the reasons I got encouraged to doing it (so thank you for that).

I hope that was a decent enough of a compliment and I hope we get to roleplay lots in the future!
