Yay, thank you so much for finding it different. 😭 I’ve gotten so many comments saying that, and I’m literally floating in the air every time I read them. And yeah, that dynamic was honestly what the fic was originally planned around. I was just listening to some songs one day and randomly came up with this idea, but as I kept writing, everything completely shifted for me.
I initially intended to write Gojo as this absolute playboy like the biggest motherfucker on the planet 😭 but the more I wrote from both his and the reader’s perspective, the more I realized I just couldn’t make him do something like genuinely use her and discard her. I would be completely villainizing him. And I would never want my reader to feel so shallow that after being used, they’d just go back to the same guy.
NOPE NOT HAPPENING IN MY FICS.
So somewhere along the way, the focus completely shifted for me. Instead of writing just drama and heartbreak, I suddenly wanted to write the greatest love story of all time lol.
And now I genuinely feel like I’m nowhere close to finishing it. I originally thought this fic would wrap up in like eight chapters, but I just have way too many ideas for it now. There’s honestly so much more in store for us. So yeah… you’ll just have to bear with me while I keep publishing chapter after chapter for a while now. 🤍
