         she’s wearing an overlarge green sweater, dragging along her little red wagon full of other people’s books. (if you’d seen the movie, you’d think she looked like matilda.) she’s got a list of names + addresses, which her entire focus is soaking into. however, this leads to her bumping the little wagon into a large crack in the sidewalk, sending the library books flying. “oh!” she scrambles around, trying to smooth out crumpled pages. this, conveniently, is when she notices that someone has actually seen this calamity. “oh. h-hello -- a-ah ... s-s-sorr-ry, a-am i --?” in your way?

there   is   a   party   to   go   to   .   some   girl   from   a   sorority   lydia   isn’t   even   a   part   of   had   begged   for   lydia   to   show   up   ;   there   is   a   change   of   clothes   in   her   car   ,   something   sexy   and   fun   ,   and   she   was   only   here   to   watch   a   documentary   for   extra   credit   ,   and   that   was   done   .   but   ,   but   —

mitch   looks   a   little   lost   in   a   way   lydia   understands   :   surrounded   in   a   movie   theater   and   so   very   alone   .   she   bites   at   the   inside   of   her   mouth   ,   and   stops   texting   around   for   a   DD   .      ❛    well   ?   what   are   we   watching   ?   if   it’s   another   life   biography   ,   i’m   leaving   .   did   you   see   the   trailer   for   that   new   fiction   movie   —    ❜

Vuelvo a tener 15 años. Crecí aquí en una casa un con jardín lleno de plantas que mi mamá amaba tanto como a nosotros (y lo sigue haciendo) por supuesto descalzo y solo shorts (en en el mejor de los casos). En mi jardín pasaba mucho tiempo, tenemos una alberca y para mi era un set para crear mis #homefilms. Para conocer mejor a una persona tienes que ENTENDER SU PASADO. Tratar de conocer a alguien desde TUS PREJUICIOS es en vano. Siempre fui un niño muy feliz, jugando todo el tiempo, compitiendo (en el deporte) sin NADA QUE ME FRENARA, al contrario mis padres fueron los mejores porristas de mi vida.
