My computer is seriously pissing me off. Streaming media is not working. I’ve been using this just fine for the past several years. Well, I say fine, it has given me problems off and on through out, but it’s at least worked. So, I made sure to turn it on. I’ve gone through every single step I’ve done. Every device on our network/homegroup can access my shared content. In fact, when I get on our Roku tv and the Xbox, the folders themselves show up. But the contents of those said folders? Nope. I’ve been wanting to watch movies from my computer for the past few days and nothing is showing up. I get the folders. Action, Family, Horror, Drama, etc. Everything I’ve set up. When I go into those folders, they’re empty. I have no idea what to do. I’ve been troubleshooting for the past couple of hours but I’m coming up empty handed. I’ve even searched far and wide, trying all kinds of phrasing for my problem, but I can’t find any kind of solution. Hell, I’ve even left my homegroup and rejoined, but it didn’t work. The only thing that has changed “recently” is a Windows update. I know there’s not really anyone reading this, but on the off chance.....any clue as what is going on? I’m at the end of my rope here.
