In the continuing saga of my desktop computer having baffling issues with any mouse I plug into it, we have reached a new level. NOW, every time a mouse...IDK, goes to sleep after not being used for long enough, it won't turn back on until I connect my ancient Wacom tablet, wiggle ITS mouse for a bit, and then go back to the standalone mouse. It's like I must taunt the standalone mouse with being replaced by something else before it is willing to wake up and work again.

I just want a new computer.

Berdly from Deltarune is slowly becoming the metaphorical defender of my pc because awhile ago I got this virus that kept trying to fuck with my default search engine, and i found out after trying to search for an image of Berdly and got redirected to this dodgy ass adware site, and in between each fumbling of the settings on my browser, I'd try to search for Berdly again, only this time to see if my browser was normal again.

Now, every time my pc gets some weird shit, you can tell when I fixed it, because you'll just see "berdly" in my searches over and over.

It's tradition at this point.

This is the third time in a row that I've left a kudos on a fanfic and my username didn't show up in the list, AND, the number of other users who left a kudos didn't go up! I wasn't worried about it at first but now I'm starting to think there's some kind of glitch going on. This has happened to be before on rare occasions but it has never, NEVER happened THREE TIMES in a row!

I'm not mad at anyone, least of all the authors of those fics, I'm concerned and anxious about what's going on with Ao3 today…

Is this a glitch? Is it a connectivity issue? SOMEONE please help me understand what's going on. I want to be able to leave kudos on fanfics like normal again. Is there something wrong with my computer? Is it something wrong with Ao3??j

The latest stable Linux kernel made bluetooth stop working. Since I use a bluetooth keyboard and a bluetooth trackball i can't have this. I had a look on the linux kernel mailing list, you know - where the dragons that make the kernel are and found a two line fix that i can apply to the source code of the bluetooth driver to make it work again. Waiting for it to compile, hopefully this doesn't blow up my computer - errors in kernel code can damage hardware and i've always been afraid to touch it.
