I Would just like to state some beef I have with the Athiest/Homosexual/Whateverthefuck community not all of you just some of you. It starting to feel like most of these people are under this weird ass belief that all Christians hate gay people… You probably shouted WELL ITS IN THE BIBLE!! And I reply with Bull Shit. You are thinking of the OLD TESTAMENT! As you see the new Testament says little to nothing about homosexuality, in fact, the small times that it is stated in the new testament is not even proven to be about homosexuality, simply a way of reading it. Why does this matter? Well because in most branches of Christianity the new testament is the main focus however the case of most “ Anit Homosexuality “ Lines again are simply a way of reading it, it could be read in many ways, Personally I read the different scriptures as much like normal marriage the bible deems it ok as long as it is in the confines of your average marriage. However, some branches of Christianity are still against homosexuality but this is minority that only uses the old Testamate. I would also like to say that in most cases the writer of this section had all right to condemn the actions they saw not because of it being homosexual but because of the thing surrounding it IE incest murder etc. it So please before you go and push us all into the one ball of Homo-hating fucktards please think about the facts.

Gemlove and Fusion: A metaphor for homosexuality?

Many people on reddit and tumblr have stated that gem fusion is an obvious metaphor for homosexuality. I agree, but it also could be a metaphor different types of marriage : traditional and romantic marriage. I do believe normal fusion is metaphor for traditional marriage. Human marriage has traditionally been a contract to combined the groom and bride families' resources to make a bigger and better. Marriage has been used to formed allies. ex. Emperors and kings married one another's female relative to make each other become like family and less likely to betray each other. Marriage was used to ensure daughters that would be taken care of after adulthood, and the dowry was used to help the family businesses, debts, etc. Marriage was a tool of trade. People did have lovers, but they knew they couldn't marriage. It was their responsible to marry someone proper for their family. Most recognized romanticize but very improper relationship is the princess and the knight. Romantic marriage is relatively recent phenomenon. Before romantic marriage was seen as foolish, childish, irresponsible to your family's needs. There are even stories that warn against the pursue of romantic marriages such as Romeo and Juliet, and the true story of the Little Mermaid(hint: she dies). The Gems use fusion as a resource for the common good or to be petty (salty pearl is salty.) It has always been a tool with the exception on Garnet and possibly Stevonnie. Garnet doesn't use fusion as tool. She is made of love like a romantic marriage. If anything is metaphor for homosexuality it is the relationship between Rose and Greg (and possibly other humans. Rose being from a one gender who have romantic attraction with each other, but loved humans. To a gemnormative that probably seems perverse. Rose even shapeshifted female reproductive organs to have sex with Greg and produced a child. Something gems don't need to do reproduced. I'm sure some Gems will see this as unnatural. From this union we get Steven. One of the most amazing sweetest boys that could ever exist. Steven is the physical embodiment of love, understanding and tolerances.
