Death letter

Ok so I am due to get the dreaded death letter this week.  Doctors in the UK will be in touch to individual patients informing them that they are most likely to have complications from the dreaded virus and what to do.  I logged into my medical records to read the following sentence.  High risk category for developing complications from COVID-19 infection (Y228a)

I live in a household of key workers.  I have no chance.  Nothing is permanent.  I am not permanent. STAY SAFE EVERYONE.

My New Years Day. In hospital with an unexpected overdose. Like a snakes and ladders game. Sometimes winning and sometimes losing. I didn’t see it coming. But at least I didn’t get arrested for once. Always a bonus.

I’ve been making Christmas gift bags from left over material from my Christmas tote bags I’ve been making.

I thought it’d be a great idea to present gifts in reuseable bags rather than throw away paper. I’ll be making many more for larger gifts.

I finished my second ever quilt the other week. Lots of rookie mistakes but I’m glad I kept at it as it makes it all the more rewarding!

I’ve just found out one if my daughters who’s only 18 has APS. Otherwise known as Hughes Disease. It all started with a CRVO (mini stroke in the eye). The sight loss seems to be permanent.

And within a week of finding out this my 16 year old daughter who went to the doctors initially for tiredness also seems to have a blood clotting problem. She has now been referred to haematology. I have to be tested too and if I also show signs of it then my sons need to be tested as it could have an hereditary factor. I cannot stop worrying about them from the moment I wake up until the moment I go to sleep.
