do you remember what that book is called, where the girl keeps getting murdered on her 17th birthday in every reincarnation of her self? I read it a while ago and can't remember the name.

I do not know the book, but it sounds fascinating.

So I read a post where you explained cultural appropriation and I had a couple of questions. What I understood was that cultural appropriation is when someone copies something of cultural significance (typically something sacred) to be fashionable. My major question is, when something new comes about, how is society suppose to judge whether or not the new trend is meant to be spread or is only meant for one group? The example I want to use is Miley Cyrus twerking, as dancing is usually social.

Miley does it for profit though. She does it for publicity. She uses it for her own benefit, not for fun in private with her close friends.

And twerking is NOT new. Please refer to this ask.

I'm trying to sort GOT characters into their respective hogwarts houses for myself and i came upon your list. I can't figure out where I want Lysa Tully/Arryn, can you give me your argument on why you think she's a slytherin?

Sure! I almost forgot I made this list! It’s been over a year.

I placed Lysa in Slytherin because of three things:

Her secret involvement with Jon Arryn’s death.

Her decision to never leave the Vale (and never letting anyone near her son) for personal safety.

How she used her marriage pursuers knowing full well she was dedicated to Littlefinger. She had many people under her thumb and ready to fight for her.

She kinda reminded me of a mix of Bellatrix (batshit crazy and in love with the worst person to fall in love with) and Narcissa Malfoy (very loyal to her son & fuck everyone else.)

She is very reckless at times, but usually only when it comes to Littlefinger’s affections. She isn’t loyal to any other member of her family (for reasons). And purposefully kept her very sheltered son from learning anything about the real world.
