Any suggestions for red gems with high ranks? Perhaps with the role of a general? Thank you!
Hmm… I’m not exactly sure what red Gems would generally fit a high rank, but as for a general specifically, maybe a Red Agate of sorts would fit? (like Crackled Fire Agate or Crazy Lace Agate?)
Agates “terrify” their subordinates into submission, so perhaps this Agate can be a general to an army of Quartzes?

It was admittedly kinda difficult to come up with a Homeworld role for them, but I tried my best to make my own interpretation:
Perhaps they could be a mystic of sorts, since it’s known as the “stone of truth" because it encourages the surfacing of secrets and hidden emotions. Additionally, black obsidian mirrors were used to contact the spirit world centuries ago, and it is thought to be useful in resolving issues related to past lives.
Weopan for a Citrine Quartz? And job role?
I like to think that Citrine would have a gauntlet, or maybe even a spear.
Since Citrine is a quartz, I’d think she’d likely have the role of any other quartz as a soldier or a guard.
What are some white gems that can build things, such as Peridot.

(Note: I know I’ve already used this Gemstone in one of my other asks, but this is simply another interpretation I have with it)
Perhaps Ulexite could be the best-fitting gemstone that can be a technician of sorts; it is a stone that promotes intuition, and it is commonly known as the “TV Stone” due to its fiber optic property (if it’s placed on top of another object, e.g. a newspaper, the image of the object will appear to be on top of the stone, similar to how television images appear on television)
What would be a good homeworld rank/job for a dravite tourmaline?

Maybe since Dravite (as well as other Tourmalines) have pyroelectric properties, they could have the job of a technician of sorts! (Maybe more specifically (as a suggestion), they create power generators for Homeworld structures?)
What do you think the job of a Lavender Chalcedony would be?
Considering that Agates are a form of Chalcedony (as well as Bloodstone, Carnelian, Chrysoprase and Onyx), maybe a Chalcedony could have a similar role to an Agate?
Maybe they could be a diplomat or an ambassador!
What would be the ranking of a Charolite in the gem hierarchy? Thanks for the help.
Since Charoite is a more-recently discovered mineral (only known in the outside world since around 1978), it’s difficult for me to find any lore or history behind this gemstone. (That’s usually where I turn towards when coming up w/ a Homeworld role for a Gem)
(However, I’ll attempt to come up w/ a role for a Charoite through its metaphysical properties) Metaphysically, it can help overcome compulsions, boost confidence, and helps you overcome your fears. It is also called a “Stone of Transformation.” Psychically, it can also bring clairvoyance.
Maybe with these traits together, maybe Charoite could be an adviser of sorts? (That’s the first thing that sorta came off of my head)

Historically, Soapstone has been used for inlaid designs, sculptures, coasters, and carvings. Perhaps they could have the role of an artisan of sorts!
Specifically, maybe they can be a sculptor who can create beautiful decorations and statues in Homeworld!
