From Hommlet to Nulb and the Temple of Elemental Evil (AD&D module T1-4; based on hexes originally from the large World of Greyhawk map)  There are many conflicting details in the text and maps which did not get corrected in the editing of T1-4.

  The map of Hommlet from T1 is reprinted seeming to show 4 roads leaving town plus the overgrown track as a 5th direction branching north of the east road at the edge of town.  This hex map shows 3 roads, with the unused track branching from the south side of the road farther from town then becoming the “High Road”.  The ToEE is the little square just south of Nulb but the moathouse is not clearly indicated, and the DM gets no hints about the meaning of the three skulls.
