missing this sentient pair of scissors
sometimes people ask me if any of my spiders/bugs have escaped and the answer is YES! It doesn't happen often but never underestimate your animals and their abilities.......
1. keter the heteropoda venatoria huntsman who disappeared for 3 months only to show up, considerably Larger, on the wall one day. he had slipped out of a small gap in the lid when it wasn't fully closed.
2. Paxton the psalmopoeus pulcher tarantula. tore the room apart looking for her. remembered she's arboreal. Looked Up. 💡 hadn't screwed the lid back on tightly enough and she had popped it off.
3. Mincer the homoderus gladiator stag beetle. just walked out from under the shelving and stood there as if he was just meant to Be There. he got out of a gap in the lid.
INVEST IN A STRONG LID is the moral of this story
back in my beetle era! meet these two lovelies. they're quite fond of banana.
