Kemenpora Dukung Lombok Gelar MotoGP 2021

Inanews - Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga (Kemenpora) melalui Sesmenpora Gatot S Dewa Broto menyambut hangat niatan Dorna untuk menjadi Lombok salah satu tempat menggelar MotoGP. Gatot akan berupaya hal ini dapat terwujud. Seperti diketahui Dorna selaku penyelenggara MotoGP dilaporkan telah menjalin kerja sama dengan Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) atau PT. Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia untuk menggelar MotoGP dan Superbike tahun 2021. Dorna dilaporkan memilih provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), tepatnya di Mandalika, Lombok, menjadi tempat yang akan menggelar MotoGP dan juga Superbike. Hal ini mendapat respon dari Kemenpora. Melalui Sesmenpora Gatot S Dewa Broto menilai bila hal ini terwujud dapat membantu perekonomian masyarakat Lombok. "Pihak dari Mandalika sudah mampu sepenuhnya dan sudah berkoordinasi dengan Dorna. Kalau dari kami akan membantu jika ada rekomendasi yang harus kami keluarkan, kemudian kami akan mendorong misalnya agar ini dikoordinasikan di tempat lain," tuturnya. "Karena sejauh yang saya ketahui ini lebih banyak full murni kompetisi. Bahkan pendekatan lebih khusus lagi dari pariwisata," lanjut Gatot. Jika gelaran MotoGP 2021 terwujud, maka ini menjadi kali kedua Indonesia menjadi tuan rumah balapan motor terakbar di dunia.
