studying is crazy for me because sometimes i just will not be able to read a single word without going insane and then there will be times when i'm so deeply involved in whatever i'm studying that when i blink, i'll realize that maybe 2 hours have passed and i'm just. how tf did that happen

so my mental health has seen better days...

#vent post #honestly. yeah.#i thought i'd feel better now they're over but i get upset thinking about exams and everything that came with them. and that sucks.#the exhaustion was the worst. it was virtually impossible to balance my mental health with being behind my books. especially since #most people around me (at my school) have this horrible “study till it breaks you” kind of mindset which definitely affected me.#and other things were happening during exams that i've YET to process! so that will be fun to suddenly come to terms with #there's so much to unpack with me. i can't wait to come back in a few years when i feel more comfortable talking about this stuff and be #like “turns out my behaviour from ages 16-18 were actually because of this thing which i already knew i had! haha!”#oh well. i'm going to read fanfiction now!#i think later 2day i'll drop some of my favourite fics i read over study leave. or another day. i might delete this in the morning.

LIVE AGAIN FROM THE INSIDE, IT'S THE WORST N.D.R. IN HISTORY

#aprilposting #worst NDR huh? is that really true?#honestly. yeah.#RS/SN had more Feeling behind it #and a sense of urgency #CL was horrible but really set the standard for how an NDR should be #VHL is the best. out of all of them. out of the failures at least #the most recent one (whats its name? can't remember) is the best of the successes #which is to say uh. the only one that succeeded #I never gave this a written NDR order so. mmmaybe it doesn't count? I count last time but not this time.#POINT IS #no urgency no pathos no foregone conclusion #not even a real story arc to it like with god what was it last time #having a flop NDR is definitely a sign of growth.#the NDR is unsustainable and that's the point #and I should be past it
