The DJ at the white girl wedding playing Pink Pony Club followed by Espresso:
There are two people pictured. Which are you implying is the DJ?
Stupid bitch
imo one of the funniest genres of dude is the ones who post shit on social media like "in 2024 I don't have time for fake friends" "so many people trying to betray you and stab you in the back, can't trust anyone but yourself" "I got a lot of enemies, a lot of people praying on my downfall" and then they work at like the mall or something like bro what kind of life are you leading there cannot be that many people out to get you
upon further reflection the type of guy I was trying to describe here is just drake fans
Digital circus' biggest problem is that it was written to be a niche show aimed at weird analytical queers with actual media literacy and it accidentally blew tf up and hit the mainstream and a bunch of people who have never had a second thought about anything got into it
This show isn't for people who watch marvel movies it's for the people doing 3 hour video essays about Utena or some shit
Digital circus: hey let's discuss existentialism, what makes someone human, how to cope with loss and regret, and the hedgehog's dilemma. you've all read I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, right?
Digital circus audience: what
reviewing kinds of customers we get at work by how nice they are because this is my last week as a bookseller:
romantasy readers: 8/10 generally really lovely people to deal with very kind and chatty just a slight caveat because romantasy has so many special editions and they can get very particular about being desperate to acquire like the entire estate’s last copy of some £25 sprayed edge signed hardback from seven months ago and can be a bit difficult if you don’t have it
romance readers: 7/10 see above for positives only downside is they so often come in asking for like self published kindle unlimited mafia romances they’ve seen on tiktok and do not understand my attempts to explain why we won’t have those
self-help/business & management readers: 2/10 these people suckkkkk especially the men. always buying weird grifter incel books and wealth creation books….ironically never ever ever know how to check a price on a book without bringing to the counter. can’t find anything without help even when you give them clear instructions. completely incompetent. rude as hell to deal with
manga: 5/10 generally nice as people to deal with but for real leave the shop SO fucking messy ….you would think since they’re used to reading a book right to left they would know how to put a right-to-left book back but no ❤️. section looks like a bomb site after each day it’s quite embarrassing from otherwise capable human beings!!
old women reading book club books about land girls or something with names like ‘the postman’s niece): 1/10 niche category i know but i had to include it because these people r da fucking worst. so so so so rude and condescending really angry that we don’t stock an out of print book from the 90s called something like ‘the midwives of lovely street’
sci-fi/horror readers: 9/10 my absolute faaaaaavourite especially horror. just the nicest chillest most reasonable people you can come across especially like when they’re like in their twenties/thirties. a pleasure
litfic readers: 6/10….usually very nice and easy! but to be honest we do not get very many lol. so mid rating because larger data pool needed
old people reading crime: 5/10 usually alright except they just don’t know how anything works ever. truly don’t know up from down. can get rude when you don’t stock the specific author they love. love to ask if you have a book and then you ask for the name and the author and they don’t remember any detail at all about it
old men reading ww2 military history books: 7/10 generally very nice!! and easy to deal with. can sometimes come in with something really niche scribbled on the back of a receipt which they want you to find but generally not too bad and always very polite. they know what they’re after
Get real.
but actually genuinely why is the ant sad and leaving with a bindle
thats probably it...
i love the phrase "sex pervert" like. as opposed to what? abstinence pervert?
i think they're called catholics
Lawrence of Arabia (1962).
i just thought itd be funny to draw a realistic image of my cat in tomodachi life
i love writing out numbers and then putting them in parentheses like "one (1)" even when i dont need to i think its funny
because maybe……..youre gonna be the one that maybe
and after all…..youre my after all
For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.
Happy pride month to her and her exclusively
she made a comic about the experience on twitter
happy pride
An Update from back in October I'm surprised wasn't added to this post. lol
