A Visit to the Realm
Yugi made sure he had everything planned for when Judai arrived. While it was autumn he was still relatively sure he could open a doorway, he didn't know how accurate he could be with it. But that was just details, he just couldn't wait to show Judai some of his new home in the fae realm. Well, 'home', he didn't spend much time there, still getting used to their customs and the like. But he didn't fear it as much as he used to.
So he lead Judai to the forest, it would be easier there than surrounded by metal and concrete. Taking a deep breath, he looked at the other, squeezing his hand and smiling. "Ready?" Those gold markings showed up on his skin as he tapped into what was left of his magic and energy. He took comfort and strength in the plants, the strong trees and the fresh air, but still his breath left him quicker as if he were running a marathon.
But he held out, opening a portal and stepping through with the other man. "There," he breathed and managed an exhausted smile before falling to his knees and panting. His markings grew dull, muddied, but at least he managed to get them close to the palace, which was why the guards were so quick to draw weapons and question the stranger with their new prince.
“No! No it’s okay everyone. We’re fine.” He insisted quickly.
