Already, Negan was teetering just on the edge of being drunk. It was a pleasant buzz that he continued to nurture with a generous sip of whiskey every so often; how the hell else was he supposed to deal with this house party? This TEENAGE house party for that matter?

It was beyond Negan how Rick allowed his son to throw this party in the first place. As if he didn't have to deal with kids ENOUGH on a daily basis, now he had them running around his house, being loud ( sometimes even louder than the music! ), and probably causing some form of property destruction Negan wasn't yet aware of.

So the alcohol? Necessary. Responsible? Not even close. Did he care? NOPE!

Finally, Negan's eyes spotted his husband, mingling amongst a group of acne- covered adolescents ( were all these kids REALLY Carl's friends? ); it was then he decided he couldn't be the only one intoxicated to deal with this. He sauntered over, an arm immediately wrapping about Rick's waist with a grin adorning lips, tongue licking the corner of his mouth.
