Honeyed Ashes Update!
OKAY SO I have news!!! 1. All first drafts of chapter 3 scenes are done! I'm in the editing stage. I intend to take the week to do this, and if I'm happy with it by next Friday, I will post it! 2. I have a fully fleshed out outline. Like, down to the progression of scenes in each chapter (instead of just knowing what the vibe of that chapter is). Full roadmap. Progress on future chapters should be MUCH faster now.
SO TL;DR: Chapter 3 likely next weekend or that week after, and future chapters (in theory) should get written faster since I've done the back end work and have a complete roadmap.
Honeyed Ashes Update!
Work is still kicking my ass, but. Bag tho.
Scene 3 is part of the way there, and I haven't drafted scene 4. Also, I intend to comb through chapters 1 and 2 and do some tightening on descriptions and prose. Realistically, we're probably looking at all of this being completed by the end of November. Unless some really crazy shit happens, that will be my hard cutoff.
Do you guys like these updates? I can also like. Throw up first drafts of things I've written that I like, if you all would like that. Lmk in replies or comments on the fic!
Definitely going to be posting Chapter 2 of Honeyed Ashes tomorrow! I'm only halfway through adding my edits to my hard copy, and this chapter is almost as long as Chapter 1? It might even be longer, we'll see where I'm at tomorrow once I post.
(Was actually really hoping to post tonight because I am excited but I have the flu and should not spend 14 hours on the final edit like I did last time.)

I've officially begun working on Chapter 3! Should be up in a couple weeks, but I'll give you updates where needed.
