Celine (she looked older now. Sadder) welcomed him to her house at Jeju.

“I want you to meet someone,” she whispered gently,leading him inside.She raised her voice. “Rumi-ya!”

Bobby flinched.

Celine noticed and glanced at him apologetically. Before she could say anything,he heard a pitter-patter of tiny feet down the hallway.

Then he saw her.

She was a tiny chubby little girl with purple hair(purple?) tied up into pigtails and a pink frilly frock. She was holding a stuffed teddy bear in her arms.

“Se-ween!”She squealed, revealing sharp canines(what the?).Then she noticed him. “Qui est-ce?”

Celine knelt down towards her. “This is Bobby. Why don’t you introduce yourself to him the way I taught you to?”She spoke in Korean, slowly and carefully, making sure Rumi would understand her.

Oh Bobby by a mile. Everyone else either has a good voice and, as much as there are some choices i think were wrong in hindsight, i had a solid grasp on… or they just didn’t exist in canon really lol

Whereas Bobby was both Extant Enough that it felt like i could really get him wrong and Minor Enough that it felt like I didn’t have a good understanding of his sound—and I’d seen a lot of uses of him in fandom as a dad figure who just… fixes everything that I was very wary of how it could be wrong. I was so glad to get another set of pronouns going on but oh boy did it cost

Bobby seems like a pheasant wing kind of guy, but not like one of the super flashy pheasants like a silver or a Reeve's, more like a Kalij or a Mikado or even just a ring-necked pheasant.

I really love the idea of Bobby being a pheasant of some kind. He can fly like many others but he chooses not to because (1) he just doesn't really feel like it (2) Rumi is constantly on the ground and Bobby doesn't want to fly around her in case there's a big reason for why she isn't flying.

I looked over the three pheasants and I think that maybe a ring necked pheasant like this would work

I'm thinking now that he's probably gotten a couple comments on why someone with such bland wings from a pheasant is running the biggest kpop group in the world and the girls always attack anyone who makes a comment like that.

after bobby finds out about polytrix, he bans them from kissing on stage.

they weren’t even planning on doing it, to be honest with you, but it triggers zoey’s little shit instinct and mira’s oppositional defiance disorder, and the two of them manage to convince rumi with some teasing and touching.

at the very concert, they share a truly absurdly long threeway kiss on stage.
